based on the Tripath TA2024
chipset. Audiophiles have raved about this amplifier on forums like
Audio Asylum,
Audio Circle and
DIY Audio.
6Moons.com gave the amplifier a great review and usually they never dabble in something so .....cheap!
Sonic Impact sell this amp through various outlets including the Target web site. The Target web site lists the amplifier for $29.99, but I was able to find mine on the clearance rack at a Super Target B&M store for only $24.98 and it included a pair of SoundpaX speakers and a carrying case for the entire kit!
